Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund Unveils New Fund Option

Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has recently launched the Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty PSE ETF Fund, an open-ended exchange-traded fund that will be benchmarked against the Nifty PSE Index, to mirror the benefits of investing in the Nifty PSE Index.

Interested investors can subscribe to the new fund offer (NFO) until May 16, 2024, after which the subscription window will close. Following the allotment date, the scheme will be available for continuous subscription and redemption within five business days.

The ETF will offer investors a chance to participate in India’s Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), which are expected to drive India’s growth trajectory in the future.

Focus sectors – Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty PSE ETF

Haresh Mehta will manage the fund and allocate 95-100% of its assets towards equity and equity-related instruments corresponding to the Nifty PSE Index, with a minor allocation of 0-5% reserved for cash, money market, and debt instruments.

The fund aims to invest in sectors such as power, oil and gas, capital goods, metals, and financial services, among others, and appeals to diverse investors. Whether individuals are looking for long-term growth, income generation, or portfolio diversification through exposure to the PSE sector, this ETF offers potential value.

A Balasubramanian, MD & CEO of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd, emphasised the significance of public sector enterprises in the Indian economy while discussing the launch of the new fund. He highlighted that through the Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty PSE ETF, investors can actively engage in the ongoing growth of these enterprises.

Balasubramanian noted the crucial role these enterprises are expected to play in driving India towards a USD 7 trillion economy and achieving developed nation status by 2047. He emphasised that the ETF provides a convenient and effective avenue for investors to capitalise on these enterprises’ collective strength and stability.

Investors can start investing in the Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty PSE ETF Fund with a minimum amount of Rs 500, with subsequent investments being made in multiples of Rs 100 thereafter.
